OUR JOURNEY
Home is a Taste
Every bottle tells a story of belonging, celebration, and the memories that shape who we are.

My name is Aissata, and I'm from Guinea, the original one ;).
Growing up, there were three drinks that marked every important moment in my life: Bissap, Jinjang (ginger juice), and Baobab. They were there at baby naming ceremonies. At weddings. During iftar, when we broke our fast during Ramadan.
"On hot afternoons when my siblings and I would take bills from our parents and run to the neighbor's house to buy Bissap frozen in small plastic bags."
When I came to Massachusetts for school, I brought everything with me except the one thing I craved most: those drinks. The ones that tasted like joy. Like celebrations. Like my mother's kitchen.
So one Sunday in 2025, I started Sip with my husband. Not just to sell beverages, but to share moments of goodness. To pour you a glass of what we served at weddings, to beloved guest visiting our homes - happiness in liquid form.
"I can still feel it now..."

"Our favorite is the bissap (hibiscus/sorrel) and ginger juice. You can tell they use fresh ingredients, and the sweetness is perfectly balanced and not too sweet. Highly recommend!"

"Delicious drinks! We tried these drinks at the African Food Festival in Boston Common. They are so delicious and unique. The owner is also very sweet and helped to re-deliver my order because I made a mistake and wasn't able to receive my drinks the first time. Try it! You won't regret it"
